Due to the unique, organic nature of natural gemstones and the distinctiveness of every handcrafted item, we maintain strict quality standards. To ensure that every customer receives a piece that is pure, authentic, and untouched, we only accept returns or exchanges for items that are confirmed to be defective or damaged upon arrival.
We kindly ask you to inspect your selection carefully before unboxing. Should your piece arrive with a structural defect or damage sustained during transit, we are committed to making it right and restoring the beauty of your initial encounter.
1. Quality Assurance (What constitutes a "Defective Item"?)
We define "defective" as:
- Damage existing upon arrival, such as missing components or structural breakage.
- Significant damage sustained during transit.
- Receipt of an incorrect item or specification.
Please note: Natural gemstones are products of the earth; variations in texture, inner inclusions, and color shades are inherent characteristics of their beauty and authenticity. These are not considered quality defects.
2. How to Request Assistance
If you discover an issue, please reach out to us within 14 business days of receiving your package. We will initiate our dedicated restoration/exchange process:
- Capture the Detail: Please send clear photos or a short video of the issue to our official service email: admin@mereora.com.
- Assessment: Our team will review your request and respond within 48 hours.
- Resolution: Once verified, we will guide you through the return process (with shipping costs covered by Mēre & Ora) and offer a replacement or a full refund.
3. Exceptions
We are unable to accept returns or exchanges in the following cases:
- Damage caused by improper wear (e.g., pulling, exposure to chemicals, or rough handling).
- Requests made after the 14-day notification period.
- Items returned without prior official authorization from our team.
- Returns based on personal preference or subjective color perception that differs from your expectations.
